Donation of materials to WWAT are welcome if they relate to maternity history in New Zealand. This material may be unpublished personal papers or organisational records. They may consist of minutes of meetings, correspondence, submissions, newsletters, diaries, photographs, scrapbooks, memoirs and reminiscences.

Historical materials in all formats are considered; some may be arts and crafts, or audio and video recordings.

Almost all of WWAT Collections will be online in the future to ensure easy and maximum access to users, though restrictions placed by donors on publication will be honoured.
